We will be blogging as the election results are reported today.  We plan to start at approximately 4:00 p.m. and continue until whenever there is a more or less definitive picture--it could be midnight or later when we decide to stop.   This will be a relatively relaxed format in that people should feel free to take off and do other things.  Just keep the webpage open, come back, REFRESH often (click the circular icon on the top left of your browser), and join the conversation!

The nail in the coffin is in! Trump suffered a crushing blow a few hours ago when the Supreme Court summarily denied the "injunctive relief' filed by pro-Trump PA legislators asking for all mail-in ballots to be thrown out. The SCOTUS didn't even bother to write more than a few words ... Read more

Two important developments to keep an eye on: The "Safe Harbor" deadline is today, Dec. 8 (ends at midnight, I think). After this deadline, all certifications of vote totals by states will be virtually impossible to overturn. So far, there are two appeals by Trump to the Supreme Court: a. ... Read more

Right now, one strategy seems to be unfolding on the part of the Trump obstructionists: It looks like they are putting up a lot of roadblocks in the form of baseless lawsuits. What's more troubling is the non-cooperation from administrators that need to sign off on the transition. The GSA, ... Read more

I think Trump will take FL for sure, but let's wait to see what happens in AZ, OH, PA, WI, and MI. Right now, Biden is about 10 points ahead in Maricopa County, which is the major population center of AZ, as it has 3/4 of the total vote in the state.
