Communist China’s Baseless Accusations

The Chinese communist regime’s explanation for the Hong Kong riots during the summer of 2019 is that “Black Hand” of U.S. provocateurs is at work. These are baseless accusations characteristic of autocratic regimes that have caused the social upheavals themselves.
In Hong Kong’s case, the “two systems, one country” pledge when Hong Kong was “turned over” to Communist China in 1997 has obviously not worked, so Hong Kong residents are now demanding the democratic rights that were promised. The latest round of protests was sparked by the extradition law that the puppet government in Hong Kong was about to impose, a law that would have silenced future opposition to Communist China since Hong Kong residents can be immediately extradited to China for virtually any offenses.
