Activities that Lower Risk of Mild Cognitive Impairment

Two thousand subjects 70 years of age and older were followed for five years to see whether their level of activity in 5 areas--reading books, computer use, social activities, playing games, craft activities)—was associated with differences in mental functioning. The results showed that high levels of participation in these activities were correlated with a lower risk of developing cognitive impairment. (more)
