Be a Gamer, Save the World

I chose to research the game, Guitar Hero. Even though I do not play it myself currently, it brings back a lot of old memories. When I was little, my dad, my sisters, and I would spend time playing this game, even though we would fail most of the times. Despite that, we would still bond and have an amazing time.

As I mentioned previously, in Guitar Hero, you are able to play multiplayer, whether it could be with someone in the room or someone completely random. You are able to socialize and pretend that you are actually in a rock band together. There is also bonding involved because you all have to work in a team to get the highest score possible. Unfortunately, there are some cons that go along with this game. Hitting all the notes and listening to the song really makes you feel like you are actually playing an instrument, but in reality, you are really just hitting buttons on a plastic guitar. In addition, you aren't really learning the fundimentals of music or how to actually play a real guitar. But, even if you aren't learning how to play an instrument, Guitar Hero introduces you to different genres, mostly rock and heavy metal, of music. It gives you a chance to explore your own taste in music and possibly discover your hidden liking for rock/heavy metal.
